My First Post

For many years I have quietly read and bookmarked countless numbers of teaching, scrapbooking, and cooking websites. I have admired the creativity and generosity of many who have shared their lives and crafts with others... all from the comfort of my house and the security I've found behind my computer screen. Well, after years of being a quiet observer, I have finally decided to take the plunge and join the blog-osphere!
I am excited and nervous at the same time... What excites me the most about starting this blog is being able to share my ideas with others in the hopes that I might inspire those that, like myself, quietly search the blog world for that "perfect" lesson that will engage their students. The nervousness, of course, comes from the fear of the unknown.
Regardless, I am ready and willing to dive in head first... won't you join me on this journey?
